Many secrets are revealed as the morning unfolds. Someone has been abducting women in and around Rabbit Warren Cove at an alarming rate, and the Sturgeon believes that the abductions may not only have a link to the darkest moment in Jonathan's past, but that he is uniquely equipped to find these women -- an idea that Jonathan, who long gave up on himself, finds hard to believe.
