On today's episode, I am sharing my incredible conversation with a lady who has so much knowledge and passion for the equine sports medicine and rehabilitation field. Dr Sherry Johnson is one of the partners with the Equine Sports Medicine Team located in Whitesboro, TX and Scottsdale, AZ!

There have been so many amazing strides made over the past several years to improve how we look at our practices in this field and how we treat our equine athletic partners. From improved technology to putting the horse first in order to care for every horse in a way that best fits each horse's individual needs and behavior. I had so much fun talking with Sherry and I learned so much on an area of the industry that I actually have been very interested in for a long time. We discuss so many topics, from creating a positive work culture with the team where everyone works together to put the horse first to how sports medicine and rehab has evolved in college programs in the horse industry.
