How to Honor and Serve Moms with Missie Branch

  • Résumé

  • Often the first girls minister a teen girl will ever have is a mom. And because she is one of the primary disciple makers of her daughter, churches should celebrate, honor, and support her every chance we get! In today's episode, we talk about how we can do a better job at that. So if you know a mom, send this episode to her today and let her know how much she means to you.

We are excited to have author, Missie Branch, on the podcast today! Missie Branch serves as vice president of Community Engagement for Life Collective, Inc. She is a graduate of Southeastern Seminary with a masters in ethics, theology, and culture. Missie is married to Duce, and together they have four children. She enjoys reading, music, documentaries, walking, and good coffee. She is passionate about discipleship, theology, and ethics. Missie is a contributing author to ”The Whole Woman: Ministering to Her Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength” and ”Women & Work: Bearing God’s Image and Joining in His Mission Through Our Work.”She is also the cohost of the Women & Work Podcast and is currently serving as a trustee for Charleston Southern University as well as the past chairman of the Board of Trustees at Lifeway Christian Resources.
