  • Matt Sparkes - Oxford Improv Festival 2026
    Jan 21 2026
Festival director Matt Sparkes talks exclusively about the Oxford Improv Festival, which takes place Thursday 29 January – Sunday 1 February 2026 at the Old Fire Station, Oxford. He mentions Mark Smith, Wing It Impro, Neil Curran, and Moses and Sparkes. "This year at the Oxford Improv Festival we are introducing the Improv Lounge. This will be a relaxed, playful space where improvisers and festival-goers can hang out, connect, and build a buzzing festival community together. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly improvisers who’d love to volunteer to run short workshops, games, activities, or informal talks — whether that’s leading a quick warm-up, sharing a favourite game, or nerding out about improv history. To get involved please email: oxfordimprovfestival@gmail.com" To find out more about the Oxford Improv Festival visit: https://oxfordimprovfest.com/
