After last month’s devastating wildfires, residents are now being pummeled by torrential rains -- sparking mudslides, inundating roads and even sweeping vehicles into the Pacific Ocean. Plus, troubling development in the case of the sports reporter found dead in his hotel room during the Super Bowl. A New Orleans woman police say was using the victims credit card was previously arrested three years ago in a similar case in which a victim was drugged and robbed. That man was outraged the culprit wasn't put behind bars in his case. And an 87-year-old widower who didn't want to just sit home alone decided to throw a winter party. But instead of posting an invitation online, he went door to door in his neighborhood and all he asked was for folks to bring a smile.
