  • Résumé

  • Two babes barking about the merits of maligned films. Low brow taste, sexy fan fics, and genre-gasms. Another effing movie podcast. Who is this for??

  • CONSTANTINE (2005) was good, actually.
    Jun 3 2022

Bisexual fantasy fullfilment anyone? Monica and Zenaida watch Constantine (2005) and can't shut up about Rachel Weisz's face, Keanu Reeves' monster hands, and Tilda Swinton's slick enby fashion. There's demons and stuff, too, I guess. And feet. A whole lotta wet feet. Tarred feet, too, if that tickles you. We don't kink shame here.

  • Let's talk about GUILLERMO DEL TORO, actually.
    May 20 2022

You good, Memo? Monica and Zenaida are Guillermo del Toro evangelists, but when we watched Nightmare Alley (2021) something didn't sit right. We try to put our finger on what went amiss in this VULNERABLE special episode, a RISKY departure from our WELL-ESTABLISHED form that's sure to alienate long-time listeners.

We return to our hackneyed genre fan-girling in the next episode.

Zenaida quotes articles from the LA Times and The Independent. DRAG HER.

  • CRIMSON PEAK (2015) was good, actually.
    May 6 2022

It's the one that started this whole thang: Monica and Zenaida get all gushy over Guillermo Del Toro's wildly underrated gothic romance Crimson Peak (2015). Like REAL gushy. We gush like loose eggs in Jessica Chastain's pale fingers. She won the Oscar for the wrong movie - @ us!
