Tras un grave accidente de moto, con tan solo 17 años, inicia una larga rehabilitación en la que experimenta de primera mano las carencias de la sanidad pública.

A partir de una experiencia difícil y traumática, Jaime se fortalece y cultiva así un gran deseo de ayudar a los demás para poder superarse a sí mismo de graves lesiones. 

Decide estudiar simultáneamente Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte y Fisioterapia; además de empezar a trabajar para poder financiar los estudios.

La pasión por el deporte y el alto rendimiento lo llevó a fundar la marca RETO Salud y Rendimiento, con la que él y su equipo entrenan a atletas profesionales para lograr importantes objetivos deportivos.
