  • 63 year old jo Handley grew up in the seaside heaven of Avalon on the northern beaches in NSW. She spent her childhood riding her drag star bicycle, playing sport and running through sand dunes. Tall confident and sexy Jo took off for the big smoke of Sydney where she danced all night and was free and wild. Jo describes the grief of missing out on having children , the challenges of menopause and how she returned to movement and exercise just before she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Movement helped her treatment and recovery and now she lives in Perth with her partner and is happy and well and wants to stay that way!
