Simon Lim puts the spotlight on Kong Chek Yong, a guy who has travelled to more than 200 countries and territories, including Syria, Yemen and Antarctica. Chek Yong is a self-taught photographer who has documented some of his travels in a photography book titled "Bearing Witness - A Photobook On Human Stories Worldwide."

Chek (as he's also known) has been to Afghanistan, Iran, Haiti, Ethiopia and Syria. These are not exactly on the mind of tourists when they think of adventure for a holiday.
