Kimberly Sanzo: Misconceptions of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Population

  • Résumé

  • Today I am beyond thrilled to have Kimberly Sanzo join me today (as you can tell by my obsessive talking)! We discussed the Deaf/hard of hearing populations and the misconceptions that not only the public has about them and their disability, but us as therapists are guilty of as well. Both of us have seen first hand these misconceptions in real life and I learned so much about hearing loss through this episode. These kiddos (and adults) have so much to teach us (about something we can never quite understand) and I really appreciate people like Kimberly taking initiative to help their voices be heard!
