Dr. Jared Nelms joined us to discuss Titus 2, what true discipleship looks like through the grace of God, and how it calls us not just to know the truth, but to live it out. Dr. Nelms is the President and CEO of The Timothy Initiative, leading efforts to plant churches in unreached regions by training indigenous leaders. He previously served as a missionary in India and has extensive experience in global ministry across Asia and Africa. We then had Dr. John Dickson join us to discuss who Flavius Josephus was, the writings he left behind, and how new findings support the Testimonium Flavianum as a legitimate reference to Jesus. Dr. Dickson is an author, speaker, historian, and media presenter, and serves as the Jean Kvamme Distinguished Professor of Biblical Studies and Public Christianity at Wheaton College. He has published more than 20 books and hosts the Undeceptions podcast, one of Australia’s top Christian podcasts with a growing global audience. We then turned to the text messages to hear from our listeners. We asked the question, “What is your next step of obedience? What is God calling you to walk away from today?” We prayed for everyone who responded, asking God to strengthen them in obedience and lead them by His grace. Lana Silk joined us to share what’s really happening in Iran during the ceasefire, why it is concerning, and how believers are holding onto hope in Christ despite intense persecution. Lana is the President and CEO of Transform Iran, with over 20 years of experience in marketing and a passion for helping voices be heard. Born in Iran and educated in the UK, she has also served in ministry as a worship leader and college chaplain with a focus on youth and mental health. We then had Dr. Winfred Neely join us to discuss the danger of spiritual plateauing, the call to keep growing in Christ, and finding true hope in Jesus rather than in our own feelings. Dr. Neely is the retired Vice President and Academic Dean of Moody Theological Seminary and serves as Professor Emeritus of Old Testament, Biblical Interpretation, and Preaching at Moody Bible Institute. He has pastored several churches in the Chicago area, served as a missionary pastor to Senegal, and teaches globally through ministry and conferences. He is the author of “How to Overcome Worry – Experiencing the Peace of God in Every Situation.” We then turned to the phone lines to hear from our listeners. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion with a minor in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics from Liberty University. Kathi Lipp joined us to share how overwhelming seasons can drain our hope, how she held on to hope through God’s Word, prayer, and community, and how addressing clutter can bring peace and clarity to everyday life. Kathi is an author, speaker, blogger, and host of “Clutter Free Academy the Podcast!” She also runs the Facebook group “Clutter Free Academy.” She is the author of “Clutter Free” and “The Get Yourself Organized Project.” We then turned to the phone lines to hear from our listeners.
