    Sal sits down with Helen Stevenson, Founder and CEO of Reformulary Group Inc., a healthcare company based in Toronto, Canada. The company built a proprietary drug formulary, as well as Cannabis Standard™, a platform that pre-screens and advises patients whether they are a good candidate for medical cannabis, provides product and dosing recommendations, and allows patients to track their health. Sal digs further to learn how the Cannabis Standard can be applied to the European and global markets. 

    Helen is the former Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Executive Officer of Ontario Public Drug Programs, responsible for the $4 billion publicly funded drug program in Ontario, Canada. Under her leadership, the Government achieved an unprecedented $1.5 billion in savings over five years.  Prior to that Helen was Founder and President of a healthcare consulting firm. Helen has lived and worked in Canada, Belgium, and Switzerland.

    Edward Collins is the chief Revenue Officer at Mila Supply and before joining Mila in Nov 2019 Edward was the VP of Global Sales and Marketing at CCI (Cannabis Compliance Inc). Ed helped CCI become the largest Cannabis consulting firm in the world with over 100 staff and served the vast majority of LPs in Canada and around the world, before CCI got acquired by Deloitte in Oct 2019.  

     

    Edward gives us some insight into his previous experience at CCI and how that has helped shape his plans for Cannabis Tourism in Guam, a thriving tourist Island that is soon to embrace the legalisation of recreational cannabis.

A long term advocate for the cannabis plant and its relationship to consciousness and healing, Nik has been integrating cannabis into his work across art, fashion and music. He has been featured in publications from Vogue to GQ, Paper to Dazed and Billboard to the Evening Standard and works frequently with the BBC across World Service, TV and Radio. As a vegan, Nik is an advocate for consciousness, human rights, animals rights and the planet and has worked with National Geographic twice in the last year.   

    CBDecoded is a London-based, independent digital platform dedicated to enhancing the understanding and communication of the health and wellness benefits of the cannabis plant – specifically Cannabidiol, also known as CBD. CBDecoded also seeks to destigmatise and humanise the plant by profiling individuals that have benefited from the plant around the world. Nik talks about working with brands, creating content, industry and diversity.

    In 2011, Phoebe Jones was hit by a moderately-sized truck travelling at a less-than-moderate speed. Phoebe was told she would never walk again. Using holistic nutrition, yoga and boxing as a means of recovery, she went on to complete her education in Biochemistry and became a qualified nutritionist in 2012. Growing up in Los Angeles, immersed in its health culture, she has a long-standing, passionate interest in the human body, biohacking, and the role of cannabinoids in health and wellbeing. Phoebe has since consulted on, opened and developed multiple locations within the food and fitness industries, in Los Angeles, London, New Jersey and New York, including her own fight gym in East London’s Forest Gate. She now works as a nutrition coach, industry consultant and strategist, specialising in holistic nutrition for combat sports competitors and endurance athletes.
