Lee Miller's Wartime Correspondence - Taster third episode
Moving on and playing poker
'Letters are a very private view into relationships and peoples thoughts' Ami Bouhassane shares letters from her grandparents, held in the Lee Miller's Archives.
This series explores the unedited letters written by the iconic photographer Lee Miller to her family and friends during WWII. The perspective and different tones in which she writes to her parents, her lover (the Surrealist artist Roland Penrose), her brothers and friends give a wonderful insight into Lee Miller's thoughts and experiences in Britain before she parts to cover the war in Europe.
