We are in April and it is time for you to bloom. In order for you to bloom, you are going to have to step out of your comfort zone. That is going to look like you doing something different. Before any excuses come up, I want you to know that there are four weeks in April and you can pick one way each week and do it consistently through the month. As you put in the work, you will start to see strides being made.

I have to choose me first. If I don't choose me first who will. If I don't fill up my tank how can I ever be expected to do the things that are needed? I can encourage others, but who is going to fill me up. Just like on a plane, I have to put my mask on first before I can help anyone else. I have to choose me first. Choosing me is vital and apart of the process.

My name is Jess and I am an autism mom who is learning to be vulnerable and share her story. Today's conversation: Have you stopped to celebrate the progress that has been made in your journey of motherhood? As a mom of 3 mini versions of myself, life gets really busy pretty fast. After having a conversation with some amazing autism moms, I had to come to terms with myself. I have been so caught up in celebrating what they are doing now, that I missed how far they have come. What I had to acknowledge was that even when things seemed to be out of order, there was progress that had been made. I forgot to look at progress.
