The Tennessee Titans are now putting the final touches on the #1 overall pick and Cam Ward took his last step towards being the franchise quarterback on Friday. That means he will be the first pick and the question becomes what do the Titans do from there. Build through the trenches...like they said they would. The Tennessee Titans look locked in on Cam Ward at the #1 overall pick, but according to reports and rumors, the Titans are still open to a trade. However, it sounds like any trade would have to present a historic return and that's exactly how the Titans should play it. There was an announcement on Thursday that had Titans fans in an uproar. The team will be going to the light blue uniforms as their primary and will not be wearing the Houston Oilers throwbacks in 2025. It may seem disappointing, but Tyler believes this is step one in a good process. Finally, Abdul Carter will not be working out at his Pro Day and it should create concern about him as a prospect.

The Tennessee Titans seem to be embracing Cam Ward is their next franchise quarterback, but that means they are also saying goodbye to Abdul Carter as an option. That leaves them with a difficult path to solidifying the edges on defense and they will like still need to use a high pick at the position. L'Jarius Sneed will need to bounce back in a major way for the Titans as the release of Chido Awuzie hurt the Titans depth at the position. At linebacker, the Titans basically have the numbers they need and really only need one more addition with a low-value asset.

The Tennessee Titans watched Cam Ward complete his pro day as well as they could have hoped for and as Ward said himself, he solidified his spot as not only QB1 in the NFL Draft, but for the Titans as well. At this point, it is Cam Ward or Bust for the Titans. Surrounding him with help will be the next goal and that starts with the skill positions and offensive line. The Tennessee Titans showed out in mass for their future quarterback of the future on Monday when Cam Ward dazzled at his Pro Day at the University of Miami. With Mike Borgonzi, Chad Brinker and Brian Callahan in attendance, Ward confirmed once again why he will be the first overall pick. Something all Titans fans need to get on board with now. The Titans added some free agents over the weekend, starting with outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter. Carter provides needed depth, but certainly doesn't solve any issues. Nick Folk will not return for the Titans as kicker Joey Slye was signed. Slye is a change stylistically for the Titans at the kicker spot and certainly a risk.
