On March 31, 2022, Pamela, battling chronic severe bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder, abducted her five-year-old daughter, Vanity. What followed was a high-speed car chase that ended in a pond, leaving Vanity trapped inside the sinking vehicle while Pamela escaped.

    As Ky talks about Pamela's tumultuous journey through the mental health system, she sheds light on the systemic failures that allowed this tragedy to happen. Despite Pamela's documented struggles and her family's desperate pleas for help, the system repeatedly failed to provide the necessary support, ultimately leading to a preventable loss of life.
