On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast (01/20/25), Hank remembers Martin Luther King Jr., as America observes the holiday named in his honor. Hank says that every year he is reminded of the power of one. One person can make a difference, like Mahatma Gandhi who sparked a civil disobedience movement that energized tens of millions towards independence. Gandhi’s nonviolent civil disobedience ethic would provide impetus from Nelson Mandela’s anti-apartheid movement in South Africa to Martin Luther King Jr’s civil rights movement. King stood at the forefront of the civil rights movement and profoundly changed the course of American history with his nonviolent resistance to racial segregation and discrimination.
