Mary Steinhauser was killed in a BC Penitentiary hostage situation in 1975. In a Vancouver Dreadful first, we’re doing a two-part story to tell the tragic tale of this brave woman. In Part 2 we will breakdown what happened and the fallout from the hostage situation is the dreadful tale of “The Courageous and Tragic Death of Mary Steinhauser”.
