Michael aka dr.Kojipup is chatting with me today. He tells us how he got started in web 3, he has been a retail trader in the stock world for 8 years and trading crypto for 7 years. But he is actually a physical therapist by trade, which highlights that you don;t have to work in tech to start your web 3 career. He walks us through how he started as a volunteer on Discord for a project, and worked his way up.
Michael has a good story and a bad story to share with us. The bad story involves uncovering a scammer and outing them. We talk about how we both feel super cringe when somebody we know finds our crypto social media, even though we're both doxxed and open about working in crypto. I share a story about how I once owned a whole bitcoin, and used it to buy something on the internet, and gave the remainder as a tip.
