  • Episode 19: James Arthur Ray and the Spiritual Warrior Retreat Deaths
    Jan 30 2025

Hey Beauties! We hope this podcast finds you well. This week, Kelly and Stacey bring you a cautionary tale about seeking enlightenment. Turns out not all self-help helpers are the same. James Arthur Ray was a self-help guru who thought very highly of his abilities to ‘help’ people. But in October of 2009, a Spiritual Warrior retreat went way off the hot rails - and three people lost their lives. So never let anyone intimidate you if you are too hot and need some air! That goes for menopause and non-sanctioned sweat lodges.

On a much better path to spiritual enlightenment, Stacey and Kelly went to Korea Town in midtown Manhattan for some self-care with a surprise couples massage, and a not-hot steam room because it was broken. We did, however, enjoy a nice dry sauna, and went shopping at not one but two K beauty stores.

  • Episode 18: Gisèle Pelicot, Shame Must Change Sides
    Jan 21 2025
Trigger Warning: *This episode covers sexual assault* Welcome to MMOTW 2025! It’s a new year, but it’s a tale as old as time of horrible people doing horrible things. Stacey and Kelly are kicking off the year covering an unimaginable crime from the South of France - one that has been reported on far and wide. Picture-perfect Provence is home to boulangeries, boutiques, cheese, lavender and more cheese - and a very strong woman whose life was shattered in 2020 at the age of 70 by her husband of 50 years. Madame Pelicot lived through a decade of the most gruesome, unimaginable crimes at the hands of her husband, and over 80 strangers. Somehow, she and her adult children have found the strength to turn their personal tragedy into a beacon for change. • Episode 17: Bruce McArthur, A Very Bad Santa
    Dec 27 2024
Happy holidays, beauties. Hopefully Santa has come and gone wherever you are, and that he brought you everything you dreamed of - because Kelly and Stacey have decided to close out the year with an absolute nightmare. Meet Bruce McArthur: Santa for hire, landscaper - and serial killer who terrorized the gay community in Toronto, Canada for at least a decade, probably more. Why don’t we know for sure? Well, the detectives on this case had a very sloppy list that most definitely was not checked twice. We also know you are probably done shopping for everyone else, so how about some gifts for YOU? Those are the best kind. You deserve it, beauties. See you in 2025.
