John is a rising star in the classical conducting world and is music director of the Hendersonville (NC) Symphony Orchestra, as well as working with the Atlanta Music Project and the Piedmont Chamber Orchestra. In this interview, John talks about how he got into conducting, how he chooses music for an orchestral season, and relates a tale about playing in the 1999 Super Bowl Halftime show.
