It's a random wrestling conversation to start the show this week, as we talk about Miami's new coaching additions. We end up in a debate about our favorite wrestlers and who made the biggest impact on the shows in the last 20 years.

We are joined by a UM alum and media legend Roy Firestone and immediately joke about how much we are dating ourselves by remembering the highlights of Roy's hay day on ESPN! As a former Cane, Roy immediately starts reminiscing about the days of the Orange Bowl in Miami and how he wishes they would have kept the stadium, even sharing his favorite game of all time at the Bowl. As a legendary interviewer we joke with Roy about his favorite first questions and he shares some amazing moments with Shaquille O'Neal who he has amazing stories with from over the years. Roy talks about getting his start in Miami television and crossing paths with Chris Myers who was on the show a few weeks ago!

And of course Roy shares some of his favorite interviews including Wilt Chamberlain, Charles Barkley, Shannon Sharpe, Mike Tyson, Barry Bonds and so many more! Plus the baseball conversation turns to Shohai Ohtani and whether or not he's the best player to ever play. Roy is also intently dialed in to the Canes, as he was there for the Syracuse loss this year, and has some pretty high praise for Cam Ward as we close in on the NFL Draft. Plus we start a conversation about the biggest sports upsets, and where the Tyson-Douglas fight ranks on that list.

As we head down to Greentree, we talk about how Mario stuffed Billy Napier in a locker and stole Will Harris as his new DB coach. Plus Miami's kicker posting videos of him nailing 75-yard field goals will likely come back to bite him (and possibly us). And we close out the show as always with a fun round of Five Questions - which include the weirdest thing we've seen at an airport, the most inappropriate thing we overheard at work, the perks of being ugly, and the next thing AI will take over and improve.

Like always we open the show on a curve ball as we learn that Scoop does the show in pajama pants that he does not sleep in and wears for like an hour before bed. But we quickly jerk the wheel to Greentree as we take a look at Miami's newest coaching addition, Damione Lewis, who will line up next to Jason Taylor to help with the defensive line. Plus Miami's coaching staff lands high marks for recruiting this off season, but everyone wants to see these recruits develop so we don't have to rely so heavily on the portal.

This week's guest drops in and it's 7-time NBA Champion ROBERT HORRY who joins the show live from the Spectrum LA studios as he calls the Lakers-Jazz game. Rob talks about his iconic big shots, how he was anointed his nickname "Big Shot Bob" and the kind of relationship he had with Coach Greg Popovich during his Spurs years. We also get Rob's thoughts on the new-look Lakers, the differences between Pop and Phil Jackson, and Toast has to bring up Rob's loss in the Sweet Sixteen to Loyola in 1990. And as a college football podcast we of course have to get Rob's thoughts on DeBoer as an Alabama alum.

We open the show Scoop-less this week, but get right into Miami's top-rated portal class in 2025 - which was expected after we rebuilt the secondary and got the top QB in the portal for the second year in a row. And Toast and Roman react to the FanDuel line of 8.5 wins for Miami this season, as they take a look at the ACC schedule and try to figure out how Clemson and North Carolina will fare this season.

Ohio State's interest in Shannon Dawson draws a mixed reaction between the guys... as Toast believes the job will go to Brian Hartline, but Roman feels like he would have gotten the gig already and Dawson may be in play. We also debate how far OH's National Championship will carry them even if they are unable to beat Michigan.

Comedian Ben Palmer joins the show and talks about his epic trolling content - which started with his older brother who was a Canes fan all his life, even though Ben himself grew up a Cleveland Browns fan. We also pick Ben's troll brain about the best way to screw with Florida State fans and he immediately dives into his best trolling methods and it's hilarious! We also talk about how he would sue his friends to get on TV court shows, how he infiltrates neighborhood groups on Facebook and his proudest moment of pretending to be the City of Atlanta on Facebook and basically taking over the city's narrative!
