The Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Universe combine for a dozen titles releasing in theaters and on streaming platforms in 2025. In this episode of Phase Hero, the crew reveals their respective Top 10 lists for most-hyped titles of the year. The eligible titles include Superman, Peacemaker Season 2, Harley Quinn Season 5, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, Ironheart, Captain America: Brave New World, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Thunderbolts*.

One last look back at 2024 sees the Phase Hero crew reveal their favorite movies and shows of the year, with the rules being that there are no rules. Marvel and DC titles are eligible, Star Wars shows, anything that hit theaters or Netflix, shows that aired on cable or streaming, and everything in between. If the movie or show released in 2024, Brandon, Jenna, Jamie, and Aaron are allowed to put it in their Top 8 of the year! One-by-one, the crew reveals their favorite titles of the year.

What If..? Season 3 has released its final episode, marking the end of Marvel Studios' first animated series. Batman movies are being delayed with both The Batman 2 and Brave and The Bold having been revealed as pushed back on Friday morning. This prompted speculation about whether or not James Gunn's DC Universe will combine the franchises he is creating with David Corenswet's Superman and Matt Reeves is building with Robert Pattinson's Batman. Plus, Sony's CEO Tony Vinciquerra made remarks about the studio's failing Spider-Man franchise which doesn't have a Spider-Man in it and, naturally, the Internet reacted.
