Allowing them to add chapters and images to their audio which is viewable by listeners on their preferred app; such as Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts and others. When the next screen pops up, you can choose a file from your device; or drag and drop a file into the box. This will begin processing your file. Have a look at the article in the link below if you want to learn more about the best audio file to use for podcasting. https://vzyfm.co/3IBIXQc (01:00) Make Sure Your File is mp3 (01:04) Choose a File or Drag and Drop Into Vizzy (01:12) When Your mp3 is Uploaded The "play" button as well as the length of the file you have uploaded will be displayed on the top right of the screen. (01:21) Adding Chapter From Timeline Click the + button on top of the timeline to add a chapter at the point in your audio. You can also move the + icon forward and back along the timeline to choose the placement of your chapter. (01:29) Adding Chapter from the + Add Chapter Button You can also add a chapter from the "Chapter" list on the left of the screen. Just click the "+ Add chapter" button to add a chapter at the point in time in your audio. If you click this while the audio is playing, it will stop in that position and you can add your chapter info and image. (01:42) Enter Chapter Info Here Once you choose a place to add a chapter and press the + button, a blank chapter screen will appear with the following fields: Chapter Title - you must add a title Chapter Image - you can choose to add one or leave blank Chapter Description - is optional, but its good to add copy to describe what this chapter is about which will flowthrough to your show notes. Chapter URL - is also optional, but if you have a link to provide for your listeners in reference to this chapter or have an affiliate product, then add it here. Vizzy will automatically short link this for you and will be used in the show notes too. (02:10) Edit Chapter Times and Position To edit the time at which you have placed a chapter, you have two choices. The first is to click into the time stamp above the chapter card. This will cause the time stamp to go into edit mode, you can then enter the exact time you like. The second is by clicking on the card and dragging it left or right on the timeline. (02:43) Downloading Enhance mp3 Once you have finished adding all the elements you want to your audio and are ready to publish your podcast - click the "download mp3" button. This will download an enhanced version of your mp3 with your chapters, images and URL's encoded in it. This is the file you will upload into your hosting service. (03:11) Generate Show Notes When you are preparing your show notes or "description" for your episode in your hosting company - make sure to use the handy Vizzy feature to generate your show notes. Clicking the button will generate a text file for you to copy and paste into your host for this episode. This will contain the start time of each chapter, the title, followed by the copy and URL if you entered them. This is important as the chapter time stamps will generate chapters for you in platforms like Spotify, and YouTube. So make sure use them. (03:27) Generate Video When you have enhanced an episode for your podcast with Vizzy - you can use our 1 click feature to generate video for your episode.
