    Sleep is so important because it affects our mood, productivity, and health.

    In episode 5 of the Positive Masters Show, I go over the following strategies to get better sleep:

    1. Get a good bed.
    2. Schedule your sleep.
    3. Exercise 5 hours or more before bed.
    4. Have enough time between your consumption of food and beverages and your time to sleep.
    5. Have a relaxing wind-down routine before you go to sleep.
    6. Avoid bright lights near bedtime.
    7. Sleep in comfortable temperature.

    Episode 4 of the Positive Masters Show has the following practices to help you to match your passions with your projects and to excel at them:

    • Define what passion means to you. Having passion in your project, if defined right, will motivate you to work hard on your project with grit and patience.
    • Practicing "delayed gratification" can help you to succeed on your passion projects and life.
    • Creating many future simulations in your head based on your past success and failure can play a role on your progress for your passion projects. The more you try things, the more you learn from your success and failure, and through this knowledge, you iterate your future simulations to improve.
    • When you no longer have passion for your project, you can apply your knowledge, skills, and relationships that you gained from it to another passion project of yours.

    7 Ways to Practice Mindfulness:

    1. Experience your environment with all of your senses: touch, sound, sight, smell, and taste.
    2. Do a mindful activity.
    3. Take some time to enjoy nature.
    4. Pay attention to everything you do.
    5. Incorporate gratitude with your mindful practice.
    6. Focus on your breathing.
    7. Treat yourself the way you would treat a dear friend.
