Alice is in charge of the Crime Prevention Unity for Queensland Police and there is constant media attention about youth crime in Queensland. ORC and recidivist offenders are serious problems for the Australian retail industry. We all know that retail crime disrupts operations, harms staff, impacts customers and erodes profitability. It also seems that retail businesses are prime targets for organised criminal networks and repeat offenders – starting small and building up to larger crimes with a huge impact on community.
