  • You don't talk about this stuff with Marc Ryan, The Beautiful Bogan
    Apr 10 2022

Mental illness is certainly not funny but comedian Marc Ryan gets real about this topic in his gigs. He opens the door to conversations that are hard to have, breaks the stereotype that you cant talk about mental illness and often these interactions with the 'tough guys' end in hugs. Marc's authenticity. courage to face his trauma and ambition to reduce the suicide rate are evident in this episode and we certainly need more of these conversations to  reduce stigma and get real about mental illness and it's impact on the community .

CONTENT WARNING - this episode discusses torture, trauma, suicide and mental illness,  if you need support please reach out to a professional or call lifeline on 13 11 14
