  • Résumé

  • Reactor is a limited series telling the story of Maureen Kearney, an Irish trade unionist who found herself at the centre of a French nuclear scandal. When Maureen blew the whistle on the secret international trade of state nuclear technology, she became the subject of threats, culminating in a vicious personal assault when she refused to back down. In a series of conversations at her home in France, Maureen takes us on her journey from Ireland to France, tracing her career, the attack itself and the reaction of the police, followed by her fight for justice as she battled against the French legal system to clear her name.

The first part of an interview with Maureen Kearney - an Irish trade unionist, teacher and whistleblower who found herself at the centre of a French nuclear scandal.

In part one, Maureen tells us how she travelled from Ireland to France, first working as an English teacher, before becoming a trade unionist at a French power company. It was in this role that she started asking questions about the secret international sale of French technology. After continuing to push the issue, Maureen was threatened and ultimately attacked by an intruder in her own home.
