RED LENTIL TOFU RECIPE
Ingredients
3/4 cup of dried red lentils
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
Instructions
- Pour 1 1/2 cups of boiling water over 3/4 cups of lentils.
- Let that sit for 10-15 minutes until lentils are soft.
- Blend lentils and water together until thin and watery.
- Pour mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thick. This should take 5-7 minutes.
- Once the mixture has thickened, pour it into a container of your choosing and place it in the fridge for 3-4 hours until it has solidified.
- Once it has solidified, slice off pieces to your liking, toss in oil and cook in the oven, air fryer or a pan until crispy.
