  • Did you know that October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month? While we reflect on what this means to each of us, what also does it mean to our family members without a voice....our furry pet family members? Domestic violence is a VERY recent personal experience of mine. We will hear from the inspiring Nicole Forsyth, President and CEO of RedRover. SHE is making a difference in this world! We will learn about ALL of the programs RedRover has to offer. RedRover©, a national nonprofit organization based in California, has distributed over 40,000 dollars in grant funds to 8 domestic violence shelters throughout the USA so the shelters can create pet-friendly lodging to house victims’ pets. The mission of RedRover is to bring animals out of crisis and strengthen the bond between people and animals through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance and education. Their programs include RedRover Relief-Responders-Readers-and-Learning. Support RedRover!
