Welcome to another episode of Refuse Ordinary: Season 3! This season we're joining in on one of the many classes taught to level 1-4 of the full time School of Transformation.

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "Staying Encouraged In The Refining", taught by Luke Pollock. This class brings powerful insight into how we can successfully walk through the tough circumstances that we encounter. "But God" is a phrase that changes things. We need Him to be our source of comfort and the one who does the work in us to make us fruitful, but we must respond to Him.

In this episode we will be sitting in on a class called “Grace and Honor” taught by Lisa Bowers. Grace and honor is one of the ways that God displayed His love for us. Our perception of grace is tainted by the world’s system that says we need to earn everything. But there is nothing we can do to earn grace because it is an unmerited favor of God towards man. We don’t deserve what Jesus gives us, and in response we get to live with Him and for Him.

In this episode we will be sitting in on a class called “Spiritual Growth is Built on Discipline” taught by Nathan Taylor. A foundation of discipline begins with denying ourselves and joining our lives with Jesus. This journey challenges how we think and act, and though discipline may feel unpleasant at first, it ultimately leads to the blessing of righteousness. It’s choosing a life fully joined with Jesus even when trials come our way.

In this episode, we will be sitting in on a class called "The Acts Church: How They Loved", taught by Stefanie Mumby. All those who had believed in the Acts church were together in the sense that their lives became one. There was no "yours and mine", or "you and me" anymore—there was only "us and me". The Acts Church continued with one mind, rushing along in unison with one passion.This was and is made possible because of the Holy Spirit. We are called to live like this, together with one mind, all the time.
