  • The Spiritual Space - Part 1
    Feb 24 2025

Christianity tends to drift to extremes regarding beliefs in spiritual beings in the unseen world. On one side, it is never discussed, and a culture of fear results. On the other, spiritual beings are hyper-sensationalized to the point where fear also results. In this series, we will examine what the Bible says about the spiritual space, what beings inhabit it, and how we can interact with it in a healthy way.

Join us for this first session, where we begin to examine God's original design for creation, including the spiritual space.

  • That Thing We Do - Watch Night
    Dec 31 2024

We do a lot of odd things in the Christian faith.

The danger of being a long-time Christian is that we can spend our whole lives doing these things, and why we do them never gets explained. The danger of being a new Christian is that many church communities cannot tell you why we do what we do because no one ever told them. We just do them.

This series aims to examine the Christian faith's traditions, practices, and sacraments so that we can know what we are doing in our faith and why we are doing it. Join us for this session as we examine the tradition of Watch Night services to understand their origins and history and how we can learn from this practice to love others as Christ loves us.

  • Conflict with Character
    Dec 13 2024

In this age of technology and social media, it can be easy to feel like we know someone simply by their content. Sadly, this has led many to have a false sense of intimacy with someone, only to find out later that they do not know them as well as they thought.

The same is true of our relationship with God; we can confuse knowledge of His content with His character. When we endure trauma, loss, and suffering, we can feel betrayed by Him. A failure to understand character always leads to fracture.

Join us as we examine Abraham's life to find ways to avoid this pitfall in our lives, both with people and with God.
