  • Résumé

  • Welcome to my Memorizing Tarot Card Audio Podcast, where I discuss strategies to learn and memorize Tarot cards. Today's episode is your three-minute lesson on the Reversal of The Fool. Why an audio course=================The purpose of this audio podcast is to help reinforce key messages by audio, while you clean, exercise, mow your lawn, or drive great distances. There is no charge for this content, and it is intended to provide short, snappy microlearning to help beginners keep practicing and reinforcing the learning. The best way to learn Tarot cards, is to keep practicing working with the cards. Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck=======================I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet. Here is my YouTube Channel video for interpreting cards in Three Card Spreads: https://youtu.be/P8En-8-8njk?si=7LIlOsFv9pNZ9iK7 Here is the transcript: Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring The Fool, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The Fool upright represents new beginnings, adventure, and a leap of faith. It embodies innocence, curiosity, and the courage to embark on a new path without fear of the unknown. However, this energy becomes blocked or distorted when The Fool appears reversed. It can indicate impulsive actions taken without forethought or fear. The reversed Fool often signals that while the spirit of adventure is present, it must be cautiously approached. It's a reminder that while bold steps are sometimes necessary, it takes careful consideration. So what does that mean when we see The Fool reversed in a reading? When The Fool Reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that you must balance your approach. This card invites you to reassess your intentions and ensure your actions align with your heart and mind. It may also indicate that it's time to step back and reconsider your plan before moving forward. The reversed Fool encourages you to consider the bigger picture, weighing the potential risks and rewards. So, what is the best way to memorize The Fool in reverse?Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Fool moment was deciding whether to move from a contract to an employee position. I was a contractor since 2006, and the temptation was there to take a leap of faith once the lockdowns started in twenty-twenty one. In theory, that is a good enough reason to take a leap of faith. However, the Fool reversed reminded me that I didn't have any facts. If contracts were available, I did not want to burn bridges by accepting an employee position. The short story is that I decided to take the employee position and not be tempted by the contract world unless something happened to my job. The company was sold after a few years, which led me back into the contract world. But I did stay true to my decision. I held onto the position without looking over the fence for something better or different. It was the best decision then, and I enjoyed my time there. That's all for today's episode of The Fool reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot.
