  • Résumé

  • Are you tired of feeling like you can’t be used by God because you are divorced? Have you set aside your ministry dreams because of your divorce? Have you ever felt judged by the body of Christ because you are divorced? Hi, I’m Dana. Like you or someone you care about, I am a divorced Christian. As a former ministry leader and pastor’s wife, I faced misguided judgment, criticism, and misinformed opinions (often based on faulty theology) within the church. After enduring years of judgment and shame, I chose to spiritually fall asleep. Nearly a decade later, I woke up to the realization that my identity hadn’t changed because of divorce. God’s call on my life remained unchanged. I discovered that the same is true for you. Whether in ministry or the marketplace, your divine calling persists despite divorce. In this podcast you will find encouragement to walk free from judgements from yourself or others, and reclaim your identity. My mission (and I’ve chosen to accept it) is to equip Christian divorced and divorced leadership in the church to rise up, reclaim, and step out into the ministry God place on their heart. If you are ready to say yes to redeeming your life and call - you are in the right place. Join me on a journey to re-remember who and whose you are and reclaim what He has called you to do. I want to hear your story! Dana@redeemed-Identity.com

  • Ep 1, What is Rise and Reclaim After Divorce? How To Live As a Divorced Christian
    Jun 20 2024

    Hi there!

What is Rise and Reclaim After Divorce? What is Redeemed-Identity? This maiden voyage of the podcast will explain a little of my story.

My heart is to wake up the divorce Christian and cheer them on to their designed call from God. It doesn’t have to be in a ministry positon – it can be in the market place! Friends, We do not have time to be sitting in our mush pot feeling sorry for ourselves. we have a call. we have a destiny. It didn’t stop with the judges stamp on a divorce certificate!

When I started my divorce journey, I grappled with a deep sense of loss and I felt like the essence of who I was vanished with my marriage.

When that judge stamped that certificate, I felt like my dreams and future were shattered. I felt like God could never use me again because “He hates divorce” so that must mean he hates me now.

Can you relate? Maybe you have the same story. Join me as we re-remember who and whose you are! I would love to hear your story. You can email me at: Dana@redeemed-identity.com.

  • Ep 2, How Long Will This Hurt, How Long Will I Grieve My Divorce
    Jun 19 2024

Today we talk about grief and it’s cycles. Going through a divorce is not just a sandstorm, it is a death. A death of dreams and a future we held very near and dear.

We go through many stages in our grieving process. It can feel very overwhelming. We will talk about tips and some strategy to help you navigate this storm.

Yet grieving the loss of a partner is unique in divorce, because the partner is still here. And if you share children, you will likely see them frequently. So, it can be complex and have it’s own timelines. If you are just going through your divorce, or it’s been a while and you find yourself stuck, this will encourage and strengthen you.

You are the fragrance of Christ,

    Dana
