  • In this episode, Hyungi and I talk about her evolution as a multidisciplinary artist, why she’s obsessed with incense, and how she ended up reincarnating a nonbinary 10-year-old cyber shaman.

    We also talk about the world of Korean Shamanism and what it feels like for her to confront her emotions and express the rawest version of herself through her art.

    Hyungi Park (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, and she hosts workshops and events at her studio and shop Baboshop. She is an incense artist, bookbinder, designer, and tattooer, who has produced performances, installations, and digital works around rituals. She can be found at @park_hyun_gi and @baboshop.space.
