  • For patients with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV), many new therapies are in development with the objective of providing improved functional cure rates. We are also learning that combining therapies with different mechanisms of action may provide functional cure benefits that exceed those seen with monotherapy. Drs. Paul Kwo and Mindie Nguyen discuss new treatments in development for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and the ongoing pivotal trials for these new therapies.
