  • So thrilled to have coaching legend, Scotty Bowman on our final episode of the season! We are switching it up a bit with featuring our first coach on the show, but not just any coach - Scotty Bowman is an icon as a National Hockey League coach for 30 seasons! He holds the record for most coaching wins in NHL history, with 1,244 wins in the regular season, plus another 223 wins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Bowman is often regarded as the greatest coach in NHL history.

    As head coach, he has won a record nine Stanley Cup championships; five with the Montreal Canadiens in the 1970’s, one with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1992 and three with the Detroit Red Wings in 1997, 1998 and again in 2002. He is the only NHL coach in history to lead three different teams to Stanley Cup victories.

    Scotty is now 90 years young and is sharp as tack!! Great stories with lots of reminiscing about some of the legendary players and teams he coached over the years! Enjoy the interview!
