  •  Homeport's CEO Leah Evans is talking about the "Future of Affordable Housing", featuring guest-host Alison Crumley, M+A's own Project Manager, currently working on Homeport's Mulby Place. 

    What is affordable housing? A household spending 30 percent or less of its income on its housing - be it rent or a mortgage. 

    Deemed as a crisis with no easy fix, Currently the U.S. has a shortage of 6.8 Million rental affordable homes alone, just for those that fall within the extremely low-income renters whole household incomes are at or below 30 percent of their area’s median income.

    That's where projects like Mulby Place, and people like Leah, come into place, finding design solutions and strategies to solve for a more affordable, and equitable future.
