  • In this week's episode, we talk with The Real Chinoo about his journey throughout his music career from production duo to simultaneous solo endeavors.


    Chinoo’s love for hiphop is real! He looked for the beats by Kanye West, The Neptunes, and Timbaland and studied whoever they produced for, leading to him discovering the works of Missy Elliott, Jay-Z, and others. He did have favorite artists growing up though like Chris Brown (Chinoo bought his first CD), 50 Cent, and Mase. ⁣⠀

    The DMV native decided to turn his hobby into a reality, studying music and engineering. Eventually, he co-created The Atomix production group and became known for his eccentric and colorful style of producing, earning platinum and gold plaques, Billboard 200 placements, film and tv placements, and hit songs with artists like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kodak Black, and Bali Baby. ⁣⠀
