  • This week we thrilled to be joined by Eddie 'the Eagle" Belfour..! Belfour is one the NHL's greatest goaltending legends. Despite being undrafted, he played 17 seasons in the NHL and made one of the biggest impacts of any goaltender of his time! He won the Calder Trophy as NHL 1991 rookie of the year, the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's best goalie (twice) the Stanley Cup in 1999, he played in 5NHL All Star Games, he was a member of the 2002 Canadian Olympic Gold Medal team becoming one of only two players to have won an NCAA championship, a Stanley Cup and an Olympic Gold Medal. And finally, after all of those accomplishments, he was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2011
