But the story doesn’t end there. After this incident, my father ended up in prison and was later released, leading us to a court date in Powell River, BC. The humor? My father was convinced he was going back to jail, but he refused to tell me why. When he finally confessed, I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically in disbelief and relief.
