  • [288] 4 Years Of Self(ish) Confidence
    Oct 20 2025

Coffee in hand, PJs on, and a heart full of reflection—Jess opens up about what four years behind the mic have really taught her about confidence, creativity, and identity. The biggest myth she takes down first: growth is not a two‑week sprint. Your body, mind, and soul move on a different timeline than same‑day delivery, and real change needs space to breathe.

You’ll walk away with practical encouragement to take one small step, a reminder that not every episode or page needs to be great to matter, and a nudge to spend more time getting to know yourself than scrolling someone else’s highlights. If human design, slow growth, and authentic self‑expression spark your curiosity, you’ll feel right at home here. Listen now, then tell us the next brave move you’ll make. If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who needs a push, and leave a quick review so more people can find their voice with us.

  • [287] Is Your Dream Someone Else’s Nightmare?
    Oct 6 2025

Ever notice how your perfect moment can look ridiculous to someone else? That contrast is the clue that your vision is finally your own. I share a raw, late-night snapshot—baby settled, pets piled on, a rare hush in the house—and the jolt of realizing it’s both my deepest peace and, for others, a total nightmare. From there, we explore how to define a dream that isn’t copy-pasted from the algorithm or family expectations, and how to build a life that feels calm, lived-in, and true.

We talk about seasons: the big, expansive years when you launch, lead, and leap—and the quieter chapters that teach you to savour, listen, and protect your energy. I offer simple prompts to pull clarity from the noise: what is the dream for me, am I living parts of it now; and the focusing question, if today were my last, would I be satisfied with how I spent it? You’ll learn how to spot micro-moments of contentment, swap passive scrolling for presence, and make decisions from a center that actually holds. We also get real about community, why social media can’t replace face-to-face connection, and how small, intentional rituals create a sense of belonging.

Where we take high level coaching, validation, implementation, inspiration, accountability to light a fire under your booty towards your dreams. Apply for the last two 1:1 spots of 2025.

  • [286] Behind the Grind: Balancing Clarity, Action and Joy
    Sep 29 2025

Change is inevitable, but navigating transitions with grace requires balancing the bittersweet emotions of growth. When cherished friendships evolve, careers shift, or new roles like parenthood transform our identity, we often find ourselves mourning previous versions of ourselves while simultaneously embracing new possibilities.

Many of us fall into the trap of waiting for perfect clarity before taking action toward our dreams. But life rarely works that way. Instead, it offers small nuggets of insight—little breadcrumbs along a path—guiding us forward one step at a time. The magic lies in recognizing that clarity emerges through action, not before it. Each small step provides more information, more direction for the next move. It's the ultimate scavenger hunt where you only get the next clue after taking a step forward.

This process of taking imperfect action builds confidence. When we move despite uncertainty, we demonstrate trust in ourselves and our resilience. The key is making these actions manageable—bite-sized steps that accumulate over time, creating significant momentum toward our goals.

  • [285] Environment Is Everything: Why Your Surroundings Shape Your Success
    Sep 22 2025

Life often has us feeling like we're not enough—not doing enough, not achieving enough, not keeping up with everyone else. But what if the problem isn't you at all? What if you're simply in the wrong environment?

This revelation hit me while reading a children's book to my eight-month-old son about sea creatures. I learned that turtles swim quickly in water yet move slowly on land. The metaphor struck me profoundly—imagine a turtle spending its entire life on land, constantly feeling inadequate because it couldn't match others' pace, never realizing it was simply in the wrong environment for its natural abilities.

Your environment shapes everything about your success and well-being. This includes your physical spaces, the people surrounding you, and even how you treat your own body. Creating environments that support your authentic self doesn't require massive resources—just intentional choices about what energies you welcome into your life.

Ready to transform your environment? Join our Selfish Sisterhood community where you'll find support, connection, and guidance as you create spaces where you can truly thrive.

  • [284] Find Peace in your Overstimulated World
    Sep 8 2025

Do you feel constantly overwhelmed by noise, notifications, and never-ending to-do lists? You're not alone in this overstimulated world.

Ever notice how a peanut butter smudge on the table or that plant you've been meaning to hang for weeks becomes all you can see? Our modern environment bombards us with stimuli that make it nearly impossible to enjoy the present moment. We're scrolling, consuming, and rushing through life without pausing to breathe.

The solution doesn't require hours of elaborate self-care. Even five minutes in your favourite spot with a hot cup of coffee can completely shift your day's trajectory. Having a designated space—whether it's a corner of your couch or a specific chair—creates a sanctuary where you can reconnect with yourself amidst the chaos.

What if you chose to be the "weird" person who's actually happy in a world that normalizes stress? What if, for just fifteen minutes a day, you decided to raise your vibration and be a light in this chaotic world?

Connect with me and share how you're finding peace in the noise. Your small, consistent actions today will create a dramatically different life in a year—one peaceful moment at a time.

  • [282] Putting your ✨SELF✨ back in Self Confidence
    Jul 7 2025

The world feels chaotic and overwhelming, leaving many of us constantly seeking external validation and guidance. We scroll through social media looking for answers, ask mentors what to do next, and let influencers dictate our choices—gradually disconnecting from the most important voice of all: our own.

In this thoughtful exploration of self-trust, we examine how life transitions naturally shake our identity, creating the perfect opportunity to rediscover who we truly are. Whether you're navigating motherhood, changing careers, or simply feeling lost in the noise of modern life, the path back to yourself begins with small, intentional moments of reconnection.

Our addiction to screens has left us perpetually distracted, missing precious moments with loved ones and ourselves. We've forgotten how to sit with our thoughts, how to be bored, how to trust our intuition. Yet these seemingly mundane capabilities are the foundation of confidence and clarity.

You don't need hours of meditation or dramatic life changes to begin rebuilding your relationship with yourself. Simple practices like implementing "one screen at a time" or ensuring "sunlight before blue light" can gradually strengthen your self-trust muscles. The key is consistency, grace, and recognizing that breaking years of conditioning takes time.

This episode offers a gentle reminder that in a world profiting from your self-doubt, choosing to trust yourself is a radical act. Your intuition has been speaking all along—it's time to start listening.

UNLEASH YOUR CONFIDENCE with Confidently You.

  • [281] It takes a village (and I'm not talking about raising kids)
    Jun 25 2025

The world feels chaotic lately—there's a buzzing energy that's both exhilarating and exhausting. As summer unfolds with packed calendars and endless activities, many of us find ourselves yearning for space while simultaneously craving connection. This tension reveals a profound truth about human existence: we need our village.

The concept of "it takes a village" extends far beyond raising children. At its core, this phrase speaks to our fundamental human need for community in all aspects of our lives. Whether you're an introvert who cherishes alone time (like myself) or someone who thrives in social settings, having people around you who support, challenge, and understand you is essential for wellbeing.

We've been conditioned to celebrate independence and self-sufficiency, but this mindset can lead to harmful isolation. Your village might look different than traditional communities—it could include close friends you can call at any hour, family members who provide unconditional support, online communities that share your interests, or even spiritual connections that guide your path. The composition of your village is uniquely yours, designed to support your specific needs and goals.

Ready to expand your village? Join the Selfish Sisterhood—a diverse community of women supporting each other's growth and authenticity. Connect with me on social media or email jess@jessclerke.com to learn how your Human Design influences the community you need.
