How do we build a strong HSP community? In this episode I talk with Cindy Gale, and we discuss about how to build a strong, supportive HSP community. We discuss how we can build bridges between us, what we need as HSP to have a stronger community.

    About Cindy:

Cindy is the creator of the HSPconnect community (together with Priyal Shah) and a psychotherapist working with Highly Sensitive People.

With a background that spans engineering, physics, psychotherapy, management consulting, shamanic practice, setting up charities and a published author, Cindy brings an eclectic, rare and powerful blend of experience and insight to our HSP community. She supports HSPs in discovering and living their authentic selves, and hopes to spark local HSP support and social groups across the world, helping sensitive souls collaborate, create, and connect.

She also runs the therapeutic support team for the Climate Psychology Alliance where anyone with eco-distress can access 3 free sessions of support. Cindy is a long time Active Hope facilitator helping people to foster resilience in the face of global crises.

Cindy’s mission is clear: to help people deepen their relationship with themselves, others, and the natural world.

In this heartfelt episode, I talk with Lorna Bode, artist, educator, and founder of Pause for Creativity, to explore how creativity can serve as a guiding compass for Highly Sensitive People. Lorna’s journey spans teaching, international adventures, and deep personal transformation, all rooted in a lifelong connection to creative expression. From clay to conversation, she shares how creativity isn’t just a hobby, but a healing force, a mirror, and a path home to ourselves. Together, we talk about the role of art in emotional resilience, the power of safe spaces like her HSP Café in Bath, UK, and how embracing our creative spark can help us navigate a world in a wonderful HSP way.

Whether you're an artist, a seeker, or someone simply craving deeper connection, this episode is a soulful invitation to pause, create, and come back to your sensitive self.

How this shows up, how you can recognize it in yourself. What you need to thrive when you have both of these traits. How it shows up in men and in women and all other kinds of things that come up with these traits.
