Great YA fantasy that is uplifting instead of dystopian!!!

I can't believe I just found this title. It is so engaging. Humourous, yet a full on fantasy. I bought the printed trilogy for my son. It is exactly what he wants to read. The author is clearly a performer, because the audio is as engaging as the story. I only wish audible had book 3.
