  • Episode 44: The Women of the SkyHawks (Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team)
    Jan 27 2025

This episode features 3 guests, and they were all members of the SkyHawks for the 2024 season.

The Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team, the SkyHawks, is Canada's only military parachute demonstration team. The team consists of both permanent members and temporary members from the Regular and Reserve Forces. They act as ambassadors for the Canadian Forces at special events, airshows and events. They are easily recognizable because their parachutes resemble the Canadian Flag.

Although there have been women on the team throughout the years, this past year was the first year there was an All-female formation. MCpl Sabrina Cloutier, Cpl Jasmine Jacques, and Cpl Bree Abbot are all Air Drop Systems Technicians, also known as Parachute Riggers. Their formation was called the three-stack drag.
