  • 20 questions with Makayla
    Nov 25 2020
Today's guest is my mini me, Makayla. We played "20 questions with Makayla" which turned into way more! Once she got over they shy factor, she was talkative! I even got to answer several questions. I truly enjoyed this time with my daughter. We definitely don't sit and talk enough. If you listen closely, you may hear your name mentioned! It's all good of course. Thank you for listening.

  • Isaiah's Colorful Heart
    Nov 6 2020
Today I had the pleasure of sitting down with Isaiah and his mom for a chat. Isaiah had his first heart surgery when he was 5. His nurse could see he was scared, so she brought him a goodie bag. In it, amongst other things, was a coloring book and crayons, which put a smile on his face! Ever since then, he has collected coloring books (for all ages), crayons, markers, and colored pencils to donate to St. Louis Children's hospital, Madison Medical Center and Parkland Hospital, to be given out to children who are scared. If you would like to donate, there are donation boxes set up in Fredericktown at BMW Convenience, Huddle House, Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy, C-Barn, Pizza Hut, Casey's, Brown's Self Storage, Chuck's Short Stop and Subway. If you are in Farmington, you can drop donations off at Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy, St. Francois County Recorder of Deeds office, Subway and Steak N Shake. If you are unable to get out, you can mail your donations to Isaiah's Colorful Heart PO Box 150 Fredericktown, Mo 63645 You can also find Isaiah's Colorful Heart on Facebook, there you will find more up to date information.
