  • Speaking from Silence Episode 14: Dealing with the loss of awakening
    Mar 18 2026

Have you had an experience of deep realization, and somehow lost contact with it? This conversation is for you.

It can feel like a rollercoaster: First, there’s an experience of deep, peaceful truth, and then time passes and it seems to disappear. There might be a sense of loss, failure, or wanting to get something back. We call this ‘deflation,’ and it is a wonderful teacher.

Where did realization go? How can you get it back?

When we learn to recognize the movement of ego trying to take ownership of direct realization, we can discern enough to stop doing that. This awareness of ego is a pathway for true integration and continued awakening.

Direct contact with the truth is always here, and requires only your quiet attention. Listen in to hear how it works.

Intro music is by Jonas and Maeve's classmate Franz Peters and his band What Matters the Most, song title “Mahaya."

Maeve speaks through an unwanted body experience to share a transmission of surrender.

Are you trying to heal something? What if this conversation could hold a healing balm just right for you?

When we don’t touch the urge to “do” something, we can truly meet what is needed. We can care for the body and have space to care, or do what’s needed.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 12: Living Free from Ego Inflation
    Feb 18 2026

Sometimes it can feel good to believe “I’m so great.” Egoic inflation is a natural way we try to be “good.”

How can awareness of this egoic movement reveal the truth of awakening?

Today we investigate the ego’s habit of performing “I am good.”

How much effort are you applying to be inflated in your life? Is it giving you what you want?

Listen in and find out how the core belief “I am aware of quiet” is different from “being” awareness, “being” quiet.

*This episode includes a relaxing exercise at the end. Give yourself space to rest and receive.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 10: Being unmoving
    Apr 7 2025

How do you react when the world seems to move towards, away, or against you? In the moment of a trigger, it can be a challenge to be still internally.

What's here if you don't move?

When we are unmoving, depth is here. It's possible to show up as silence and love. This is where compassion lives.

How can you examine your own movement? Then, how can you be unmoving in the experience of any trigger?

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 9: Indulging in self-betrayal
    Mar 28 2025

What is self-betrayal? When we are aware of something that distracts us from silence, and then consciously indulge in it because it’s tasty. This betrays the truth.

Telling ourselves stories about what is happening in any moment is a way we try to avoid, control, or manage emotions. Stories may seem to distract us from emotions, but they are a heavy burden to carry, and they distract us from peace.

It’s possible to see through this indulgence in narrative; to stop believing all stories, and in that, to stop betraying the truth. Quiet is here.

Even in the midst of an intense emotion coming up, silence is still here.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 8: Seeing through self-hatred and “trying to fix”
    Mar 20 2025

How is it to show up in complaint, versus to show up in the depth of being love?

Many of us create a belief that something is wrong, and look for proof of that. To live life from there is immensely depressing. We imagine ourselves to be the center of the universe, taking things personally.

It’s possible to see through these stories, through this false identity, to find clarity around who you really are, around what your life is about. Clarity about love. What if love has no beginning and no end?

What if peace doesn’t end after you lost track of it? How would it be if you could meet triggers as love, and learn from them?

Love doesn’t end. You are natural.

  • Speaking from Silence Episode 7: The Grace of Clarity
    Mar 13 2025

What do you want? Can you sense or feel a clear answer to that question?

If you let the answer come from a level that isn’t mental, can you get in touch with what you want, right now?

If you are touched by the possibility of being yourself, it’s clear. The grace of clarity sees through everything at the surface, no matter how muddled.

It’s not about having practical answers or finding a certain process that everyone can follow. It’s about surrendering into yourself, and that is beyond words.
