  • MEGAN CARLISLE is the Field Director of Wild Greif. They provide guided programs in nature, free of charge, to grieving youth, families and people of all ages. combining peer based grief support with the healing power of nature. Wild Grief is a nonprofit based in Olympia, Washington. Serving people from around the region who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Grief after a death is disorienting and often deeply painful. Peer support from others who have experienced a loss can help us on our grief journey. Trained guides gently offer prompts that create a safe space to open up and process the complex feelings that surround the death of someone important to us. When we take a break from routine, and connect as a group in nature we see that death is a normal part of the cycle of life all around us. The rugged beauty of wild spaces can hold our diverse untamed emotions. When we go through it together, on the other side of we find resilience. That is why our motto is Go Outside. Go Together. Go Through it. Wherever you are on your grief journey, we hope you can join us. Wild Grief Follow Warm 106.9 on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @warm1069 Learn more about your ad choices.
