  • Ep 352 How To Have A Quality Relaxation

    In this episode, I break down the difference between high-quality and low-quality relaxation — and why it matters if you want to feel truly restored instead of just numbed out.

    We’ve been taught to equate “relaxation” with wine at the end of the day or collapsing on the couch with a drink in hand. But that kind of low-quality relaxation only gives temporary relief — it disconnects you from your body and leaves you feeling drained or disappointed later.

    I explore what high-quality relaxation really looks like: practices that fill you up, calm your nervous system, and actually help you recover from the day — things like slowing down, breathing, walking outside, or simply allowing yourself to be present.

    You’ll learn how to:

    • Recognize the difference between numbing out and genuine restoration
    • Tune into what your body actually needs to relax
    • Replace automatic end-of-day drinking rituals with higher-quality habits
    • Build a more nourishing relationship with downtime and rest

    By the end, you’ll see that you don’t need alcohol to unwind — you just need to redefine what “relaxing” means and take the time you need to get there.
