Summoned by the Earth: How a Sacred Activist Dropped the Guru and Accepted Gaia as her Teacher

  • Résumé

  • Author and Sacred Activist Cynthia Jurs spoke to the Mother Tree network about how Gaia summoned her to be a vessel for peace.

Reading aloud two excerpts from her book Summoned by the Earth, Cynthia shares her spiritual journey from eastern Gurus to her Gaia practice which involves burying earth treasure vases all over the planet.

These vases are filled with prayers and offerings and planted in locations needing healing and protection.

Cynthia tells us about sacred activism, which emphasizes acting from a place of deep listening and love towards the Earth.

She recounts interactions with various indigenous elders who have imparted wisdom about healing the planet.

Cynthia shares about her near-death experience in Nepal, where Gaia saved her life.
